Quality Policy

General Sistem regards full compliance with regulations, as well as the complete trust and satisfaction of its clients, as an essential prerequisite and a decisive factor for the company’s image and success.

For this reason, Management considers it a priority to:

  • Ensure the production of concrete through the maintenance and improvement of quality standards, with the aim of satisfying clients and strengthening its reputation in the market.
  • Define client requirements — both explicit and implicit — with accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide personnel with adequate training, enabling them to carry out their tasks with awareness and to continuously improve their performance.
  • Pay the utmost attention to client needs, ensuring ongoing support, promptness, and diligence in addressing any issues.
  • Select and collaborate with reliable suppliers capable of meeting and improving contractual conditions in terms of quality, costs, and timelines.

The Quality Policy is implemented through the application of a Quality Management System and a Factory Production Control System, in compliance with UNI EN ISO 9001/2000, UNI EN 206-1, UNI 11104, and UNI EN 45001 standards.
This system serves as a true framework for all company activities.

Certifications and Production Control

General Sistem promptly adopted Directive 89/106/EEC on construction products, which requires factory production control for industrialized concrete.

According to this directive, factory production control is a permanent internal process, carried out by the manufacturer, who must systematically document all elements, requirements, and provisions in the form of written procedures.
This system ensures a shared interpretation of quality, guaranteeing that products meet the required standards and that the production process operates effectively.

The Factory Production Control system is established in compliance with UNI EN ISO 9001 standards and is certified by a notified body — in our case, CDQ.

Production Process Control covers the following activities:

  • Definition of functional roles within the organization.
  • Technical specifications for concrete.
  • Management of plants and production processes.
  • Control of production and products.
  • Procedures for recipe qualification.
  • Control of components and management/maintenance of plants and transport systems.
  • Product verification, statistical control, and management of non-conformities.

Certification Process

The certification process includes:

  • Initial type testing, carried out at a notified laboratory.
  • Certification of conformity with the relevant standard, issued by a notified body following an inspection of the production site and verification of documentation and factory production control records.
  • Annual surveillance audits conducted by the certification body.
